Let it snow!

David, who is 22 months old tomorrow (!), is very excited about his first real christmas experience! We’ve been playing Christmas music for weeks now, and I keep catching him singing phrases from the songs like “Away in a Manger” and “Jingle Bells.”  Today he was singing  “Let it Snow!” so I decided to have some fun with his lunch and create a winter wonderland! He enjoyed a peanut butter and jelly snowman, kiwi trees with cranberry and corn ornaments, and some banana snowballs, all dusted with a light layer of powdered sugar. He was very excited about his fun lunch, and it was so easy to put together! Now if only we had some real snow!

What fun treats are you making for your kids during the holidays?
