This super simple Fruity Valentine idea is lots of fun and healthy too! Your kiddos’ friends are going to love it (and their parents will too!)!
Fruity Valentines
This week is a busy one for us! David’s 4th birthday is on Wednesday, and it is also his class Valentine’s Day party. Since the party is doubled up, we get to bring Valentine’s treats and birthday treats. For David’s birthday treat we are bringing Surf Sweets gummy hearts. David loves them, and is so excited to share them with his friends.

Because we’re sharing candy for his birthday I wanted to go in a different direction for our Valentine treats. I suppose I could have just kept it simple with a card, but you know me. I had to do something semi-homemade. Growing up I would make elaborate Valentine’s for all of my classmates. I actually remember embossing heart shapes with special powder over the heat of the toaster one year!
The idea to do Fruity Valentines certainly isn’t original—you can find all kinds of pictures online. I picked some easy-to-find fruits and made my own tags. And I’ve got a printable file for you too (at the very end of the post)!

This works best to print on two sides, with the settings show below—“print on two sides,” “flip on long edge” and it should print out just right. Then cut the circles out, punch a hole in the top, and loop a rubber band through (you could probably use a ribbon too, or even just print one sided on to some sticker paper!). Pop the tags around your fruit and you’re ready to deliver!
If you do make these fun Fruity Valentines, take a picture and share on Instagram or Facebook. Be sure to tag me so I can see your handiwork! Have fun! {#frieddandelions // @frieddandelions}
