Pasta is the way to David’s heart, and his tummy. Whenever I ask him what he’d like to have for dinner he always suggests some sort of pasta! Ravioli, macaroni, spaghetti, and noodles—he loves them all! Here’s a round up of some of our favorite Fried Dandelions pasta dishes!
Chef Sarah D’s Not From A Can Spaghetti and Meatballs
Mac Not Cheese—David likes to tell me that “we eat the Mac, not the cheese.” One time we had friends over for a lunch play date once and my friend, Kristin, told the kids she would serve them Macaroni and Cheese. David got upset saying “no, I don’t eat cheese!” She had to reassure him that it wasn’t actually cheese. Phew!
This recipe comes from Dreena Burton, via the Chocolate Covered Katie blog—it’s such a favorite in our house that I HAD to include it!
Chickpea Noodle Soup (ok, not pasta, but made with pasta!)
Give some of these a whirl—they’re sure to be a hit with you and your kids!
