I made a quick smoothie for David and I to share after his nap time today. I like to give him something light to tide him over until we eat dinner with Irving, but if I give him too much he loses his appetite for the main event. This little smoothie hit the spot. I’m not sure its much of a recipe, just a few good ingredients thrown in the blender. It tastes just like the old strawberry Orange Julius smoothie I used to get when I was a kid! Hope you enjoy!
- 1 c coconut milk (the kind from the carton, not the can)
- ½ c fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1 tsp frozen orange juice concentrate
- handful of ice cubes for a thicker smoothie (we omitted them as my goal was to have a thin smoothie that went through a sippy cup!)
